The Society of Illustrators Call for Entries is an international competition for illustrators, offering exhibition space and recognition through awards and inclusion in a prestigious annual publication.

Overview:
The Society of Illustrators Annual Exhibition showcases over 400 of the best works of illustration created each year. Open to international artists, the competition is judged by renowned illustrators, art directors, and designers. The winning entries are exhibited at the Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators in New York City. The exhibition includes two separate shows, with an Opening Award Gala for each, where medals and certificates are awarded. Additionally, all accepted entries are published in the prestigious Illustrators Annual Book, which features full-color reproductions.
Eligibility:
Any illustration created or published between October 1, 2023, and November 1, 2024, is eligible. A.I.-generated art is not eligible for this competition.
Application:
Submissions are accepted through the competition website starting in September 2024, and the deadline is October 23, 2024.
