Nazik Armenakyan is an award-winning documentary photographer, editor, educator, and the co-founder of the 4Plus Documentary Photography Center. She specializes in documentary storytelling, visual research, and working with sensitive and underrepresented narratives. Her practice focuses on project development, visual storytelling, and editorial direction, collaborating with photographers, NGOs, and cultural institutions to shape complex narratives into rigorous and impactful photobooks, exhibitions, and long-term documentary projects, with a strong emphasis on ethical storytelling. As a lecturer and educational program developer, Armenakyan has extensive experience designing and leading photography courses and workshops. She mentors emerging photographers supporting them from initial concept through to finalized visual projects.
