The Saari Residence, maintained by Kone Foundation, offers residencies for artists of all disciplines and nationalities. Located in Mynämäki, Southwest Finland, the residence provides a peaceful environment for artists and researchers to focus on their work. The residency is committed to ecological, social, and psychological sustainability, and provides accommodation and workspaces for 2-month residencies. Individual artists can apply for grants that cover living expenses, with grant amounts based on the artist's career stage. Travel support is also available for artists from the Global South, and ecological travel is encouraged. Applications are open from 1 March to 31 March 2024 for residencies in 2025.
