Overview:
The Smithsonian Magazine 22nd Annual Photo Contest runs from September 18, 2024 to December 2, 2024 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. This contest is free to enter and features six categories: Natural World, Travel, People, The American Experience, Artistic Images, and Drone/Aerial. It encourages photographers to showcase their creativity with prizes for each category.
Eligibility:
Open to photographers 18 years or older. Individuals affiliated with the Smithsonian Institution and their immediate families are not eligible.
Application:
Submit up to 15 photos per category through the contest website. Photos must be in .jpeg, .jpg, or .gif format in sRGB color space, at least 2000 pixels wide, and no larger than 10 MB.
