Pittsburgh International Airport Open Call for Art Installations
The Pittsburgh International Airport is calling for rotating art installations by artists and collectives. Selected artists will receive a $1,500 honorarium for their artwork, which will be on display for 3 months.

Overview:
Pittsburgh International Airport, through the Allegheny County Airport Authority, invites artists or artist collectives to apply for the opportunity to create rotating art installations. This call is open to both 2D and 3D artwork, video, and installation pieces. The goal is to enhance the traveler experience by showcasing dynamic visual art that reflects Pittsburgh’s regional culture and creativity. Artists are encouraged to submit proposals that demonstrate high-quality, world-class artwork. Selected artists receive a $1,500 honorarium for a 3-month display period. Submissions are ongoing.
Eligibility:
Open to individual artists or artist collectives. Artists are responsible for transporting and insuring their artwork.
Application:
Submit required materials, including a bio, letter of interest, and between 5 and 10 samples of artwork. The airport staff will assist in the installation.
