Overview:

The Adirondack Experience (ADKX) offers a one-month residency in 2025, providing artists the opportunity to engage with nature and create their own body of work. Artists will work in public spaces at the museum at least three days per week, interacting informally with visitors. Additionally, artists will lead participatory activities in the museum's Art Lab for two days a week. Selected artists will receive a stipend of $5,000 and a $500 travel allowance. The residency also includes on-site housing. The program aims to encourage public engagement and showcase under-represented artists. Applications are open to artists from various disciplines who have a connection to the visual arts.
